The Struggle Is Real.

“Strength does not come from winning. Your struggles develop your strengths. When you go through hardships and decide not to surrender, that is strength.”

 Arnold Schwarzenegger

As an entrepreneur, others look to us for answers and expect us to overcome obstacles at every turn.  But when the day comes that our answers fall short and the obstacles overwhelm us, it is critical to recognize that we must seek the help of others to struggle through to new understandings.

The lessons I have learned from the common struggles has illuminated my leadership by energizing my empathy.  I now know that it is empathy and understanding that empowers my ability to support the dreams of others.  It is the “soft side of entrepreneurship.”

I want to live the balance of my life as a transparent example of how the grace of God; demonstrated through helpful, caring people has carried me when I could not move forward in my own strength.

As you go through your world this week, look around for those people (they won’t be hard to find).  Lend them a hand in their struggle – because struggle is our common condition.
